Can you get strong with the Neubie?

Can you get strong with the Neubie? Even without lifting heavy weights?

Strength depends on the optimal performance of the nervous system. Our brain and nervous system are there to protect us from harm, so they limit our muscles’ output to reduce the risk of injury. Though these protective mechanisms are important, they often get set too conservatively because of previous injuries and bad habits.

With the Neubie and it’s unique form of neuromuscular re-education, you can increase the intensity of muscle activation and challenge your muscles as if they were under extremely heavy loads, but without having to use as much weight with its associated risks of injury. For many people, including many athletes, this can provide enough strength to excel in your chosen field.

The one caveat is for the “strength” athletes, like powerlifters, Olympic lifters, and strongman/woman competitors. You will still need to experience heavy loading on a more frequent basis in order to keep the mechanoreceptors in your joints “tuned up.” Otherwise, your muscles might be strong enough to squat 500 pounds but your nervous system will still stop you from doing more than 350 if it doesn’t believe your joints can support that much weight.

Still, with NeuFit you will be able to do those heavier workouts less frequently than in traditional resistance training. Nobody would argue that progressive overload builds strength and hypertrophy. Now we have a more efficient and effective way of doing it!
